🌍 Where do you ship from? Where are your products made?

We ship directly from our warehouse in South San Francisco, CA.
Our handcrafted products come from skilled artisans in:

  • 🇻🇳 Hanoi & Thanh Hoa, Vietnam

  • 🇮🇩 East and Central Java, Indonesia

  • 🇹🇳 Sfax, Tunisia

🌱 Are your products sustainable?

Absolutely. We work with rural communities that regulate tree harvesting and replant what they cut. Our materials include:

  • 🌴 Coconut shells (rescued from waste)

  • 🪵 Sustainable wood & offcuts

  • 🎍 Fast-growing bamboo

As part of our commitment to 1% for the Planet, we donate over 2% of annual revenue to tree-planting charities 🌳

🧴 What do you coat your products with?

We use food-safe lacquers and oils such as coconut oil and olive oil.
✅ Safe for use with food and drinks.

🧪 Do you use glue?

Most products are carved from a single piece of wood or coconut shell—no glue needed.
Some exceptions (with food-safe glue):

  • 🍽️ Bamboo plates & bowls (made from offcuts)

  • 🍺 Tall bamboo steins & cups (with carved handles)

  • 🪴 Pedestal planters & soap dishes (with glued bases)

With proper care, our homeware goods can last a lifetime.

🪵 Why does each product look different?

Because we work with natural materials, each item will vary in shape, size, and markings — that’s the beauty of handmade design.

📦 How do you pack your products?

We use:

  • ♻️ Recycled branded paper wraps

  • 📄 Recycled paper fillers

  • 📦 Biodegradable cardboard boxes

No plastic packaging—ever.

🚚 Do you offer carbon-neutral shipping?

Not yet. We’re actively working on improving, but currently do not offer carbon-neutral shipping. We focus on offsetting through other sustainable practices.

🤝 Are artisans treated fairly?

Yes! We work with family-run businesses — not large corporations — to ensure fair treatment and compensation for every artisan we partner with.
